A Stuttgart, Germany based interaction designer working on human centered experiences and products, that help us in daily life and productivity.
Let me show you what I've been working on.
Destinations is an application concept that simplifies the design process of wayfinding systems. It maps the complete design process, which is currently dominated by manual work. Destinations lets users view a digital representation of a project site, visually plan visitor routes, sign placements and messages.
During this project, we analyzed the design process in detail, spoke with designers and discovered pain points they come in contact with during their work.
Based on our findings, we designed an improved workflow and data model from the ground up. Destinations uses the potential of a digital application to bring greater flexibility, speed and features like live updates.
In Destinations, users can load building data to explore and analyze. From there on, designers can simulate visitors, traffic flows and create routes for their wayfinding system. They can then use those routes to create information sequences and signage. Finally, tools to insert data into designs and simulation complete the process.
This project has been chosen to be part of the goHfG founders initiative and won the goHfG award in February this year.
We are currently building a team, seeking partnerships and feedback to build this product. For more information and news about developments, visit the Destinations website.

Motivation
Being a designer means to gather and create ideas and connect them in new ways while maintaining a strategic working process. My main motivation is essentially about grasping and understanding any kind of topic no matter the complexity. Synthesizing findings into great products, concepts and visions is one of my greatest joys.
Sheets of paper are my number one tool, starting from big and broad strokes until I reach the smallest details. Digitally, I mainly work with Sketch and the Adobe Creative Cloud. For bigger projects I automate my workflow with tools like Data Populator and for special occasions, I don’t shy away from the occasional line of code.
